Food & Beverage Attendant
Job Summary
We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join us as Full Time - Food & Beverage Attendants (Lounge Runners) to join our First-Class Lounge Team in Sydney International Airport.
Key duties of this role include but are not limited to the following:
- Creating memorable service experiences for our Qantas Lounge guests
- Clearing tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy a la carte service
- Experienced team members can also develop skills in barista and bar
- Serving beverages efficiently using tray service ensuring smooth and safe delivery to guest
- Tray clearing - glassware cutlery plates and crockery
- Working closely with multiple departments front of house as well as our culinary and stores teams
- Responsible for carrying and balancing trays with multiple items maintaining balance and speed
- Representing the iconic Qantas Brand showcasing immaculate presentation
- Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation.
- Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practices
Ideal applicants will have full flexibility to work AM and PM shifts including the weekends
Qualifications :
Whilst technical experience is of importance to us to be considered for the role you will have the following:
- A friendly customer-focused attitude with the strive to provide total customer satisfaction.
- Initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive intuitive and efficient.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification.
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
- Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients.
- A high standard of grooming and personal presentation.
- The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts including early mornings late evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- A positive team player and guest-centric mindset.
- MUST have full working rights within in Australia
