Job Summary
Regions Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist and Cardiopulmonary Specialist to join our collaborative team of this role you will partner with the patient care team to develop modify and implement respiratory care plans.

As a Respiratory Therapist you will:
- Administer routine and specialized respiratory and critical care interventions for inpatient and outpatient populations.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to develop and adapt respiratory care plans for patients across all age groups including neonates pediatrics adolescents adults and geriatrics.
- Perform diagnostic procedures as requested.
- Operate maintain and troubleshoot respiratory and critical care equipment.
Schedule:
- FTE: .75 (30 hours/week)
- Shift: Nights
- Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
Education
- Associate degree or higher in Respiratory TherapyOR
- Graduation from a twoyear AMAapproved Respiratory Care programOR
- Coursework and credentials (e.g. twoyear respiratory therapist program CRT credential) qualifying the candidate for the NBRC registry exam.
Experience
Minimum of four years of experience including:
- At leasttwo years at Regions Hospital with documented competency in respiratory critical care.
- At least two years performing respiratory critical care duties in an acute care setting providing Hemodynamic services.
- Must work a minimum of 48 hours per pay period.
- Other experience as approved by Manager.
Licensure/Certification
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LRT) Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
- BLS certification
- ACLS within one year of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within one year of hire
Licensure/Certification
- NRP Certification
- Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS)
- Fundamentals of Critical Care Support (FCCS)
- Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT)
