I amsearching for a qualified Dispensing Optician to join a vibrant team within the Putney practice - this is a full time position. WEEK 1 - Monday - Friday WEEK 2 - Tuesday - Saturday
The role
Dispensing Opticians are an integral part of each of branch ensuring that each store has adequate and correct stock whilst liaising with each customer on a one to one basis regarding their latest prescription. Core tasks of this role will include;

This is an ideal position for a fully qualified Dispensing Optician with strong communication skills searching for a brand that values quality over quantity. Complete customer satisfaction is our aim meaning our DOs need to be engaging motivated and able to work with customers on a consultative basis.

You will be resposnible for:
- Dispensing eyewear to patients providing expert advice and guidance on optical products.
- Conducting comprehensive eye tests and assessments to determine patients visual needs.
- Assisting patients in selecting appropriate frames lenses and other optical products.
- Taking accurate measurements and ensuring proper fittings for eyewear.
- Carrying out adjustments and repairs on eyeglasses.
- Offering advice and recommendations on contact lenses and other visual aids.
- Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or queries.
- Ensure that stock is maintained and accurate against purchase orders
- Assist the Branch Manager in tracking and monitoring branch performance
- Work with customers on a consultative basis regarding the available stock
- Ensure all reminders are followed up ensuring all parties are kept up to date
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Optometry or related field.
