An innovative fintech/web3 startup backed by top-tier investors is looking for a hands-on Controller to build and scale the entire finance function from the ground up.
This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and wants to help shape the future of institutional finance infrastructure.
Tasks
What Youll Do:
Own the full accounting cycle: month-end close reconciliations financial statements reporting
Build scalable internal controls and finance processes
Manage treasury tax compliance cash flow forecasting and equity-related finance operations
Partner directly with leadership on budgeting fundraising financial modeling and strategic decisions
Implement and optimize finance systems with AI-driven workflows and automation
Requirements
What Were Looking For:
610 years of accounting/finance experience
Background in public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier preferred) startup/high-growth company experience
CPA preferred
Experience running finance/accounting operations independently
Strong systems/process builder mindset
Active user of AI tools in finance workflows
Interest in crypto/web3/digital assets is a plus
Must be based in or open to relocating to NYC
