QA Software Test Engineer (mfd)

We are looking for an experienced QA engineer for manual testing.

Your Tasks

• As a QA software test engineer you will support us in developing our existing embedded linux infrastructure and improving our industrial radar applications through intensive manual dynamic and static testing
• You support the development team in daily activities by planning executing and documenting different test scenarios for features development and bug fixing
• You plan and carry out manual regression smoke and release testing of embedded software applications
• You build support and improve our QA software test system by managing test specifications executions and reports
• Throughout the entire process you will be in close communication with other development teams product owners and group leaders to support the cross-functional development process of sophisticated radar technologies

Your Strengths

• Complete studies in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or others
• You have a solid technical understanding of SDLC software testing WebUI testing and test automation
• Next to experience in working with Python Pytest Git Jenkins Jira and Postman knowledge of Allure Bash Linux Raspberry Pi and GUI test tools would be a plus
• You have proven experience of writing test specifications planning test executions and preparing test reports
• Also several years of experience with testing REST API and applications in embedded linux environments
• Working knowledge of MQTT networking systems and HIL testing is required knowledge of performance & load testing and tools like JMeter would be desirable
• You have strong English communication skills German would be a plus
