The RN will support complex interventional cardiology electrophysiology structural heart and vascular procedures in a unit consisting of 4 dedicated Cath Labs 2 EP Labs and 23 prep/recovery bays. Candidates should be comfortable managing high-acuity cardiac patients procedural sedation dysrhythmias and advanced cardiovascular interventions including PCI TAVR ECMO/VAD support ablations pacemaker/ICD procedures and pulmonary interventions.

Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and willing to stay until the last patient is cared for when needed.

• Provide direct patient care before during and after cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Circulate and monitor diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Assist with PCI left/right heart catheterizations stent placements cardioversions and structural heart procedures
• Monitor procedural sedation and hemodynamic status
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias during procedures
• Perform sheath removal and ACT monitoring
• Assist with vascular closure devices including Perclose and StarClose
• Support advanced cardiovascular procedures including ECMO VAD TAVR ASD/PFO closures Impella and pulmonary interventions
• Obtain and interpret 12-lead ECGs
• Administer cardiac medications including vasopressors antiarrhythmics thrombolytics and emergency medications
• Maintain infection prevention and PPE protocols
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists electrophysiologists anesthesia and multidisciplinary cardiac teams

• Minimum 2 years recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required
• Epic experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Strong interventional cardiology experience required
• Must be flexible with schedule and willing to stay until all patient care is completed
• Minimal call required as needed
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Clinical prescreen and manager interview required
• Experience with advanced structural heart or EP procedures highly preferred

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

• Minimum 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience required
• Experience in invasive/interventional cardiology required
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and procedural sedation required
• Experience in EP Lab structural heart or advanced cardiac support procedures preferred
• Experience with high-volume procedural environments preferred

• Active RN License
• ACLS required
• BLS required
