Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

. Application Development: Design Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and BPM platforms (e.g. Flowable Fluxnova etc.) to support business process automation.
. Process Implementation: Implement business workflows process models and service integrations based on functional requirements and technical specifications.
. Workflow Orchestration: Apply BPM concepts to orchestrate end-to-end business processes including task management decision logic and event handling.
. Backend Integration: Integrate BPM solutions with backend systems and external services using REST APIs messaging systems and event-driven architectures.
. Data Management: Handle process-related data persistence and integration with databases ensuring consistency performance and reliability.
. Code Quality: Write clean modular and maintainable Java code following enterprise coding standards design patterns and best practices.
. Bug Fixing & Optimization: Identify troubleshoot and resolve issues related to process execution performance bottlenecks and system stability.
. Testing: Develop and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability and correctness of business processes and services.
. Collaboration: Participate in code reviews sprint planning and technical discussions with architects business analysts and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions
. Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and mentor junior members support team decision-making and drive best practices across analysis and documentation activities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Required Skills & Qualifications

. Java Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java including core concepts object-oriented programming and common frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot.
. BPM Knowledge: Hands-on experience with BPM platforms such as Flowable Fluxnova or similar workflow/process automation tools.
. Process Modeling: Strong understanding of BPMN 2.0 workflow design and business process orchestration.
. API & Integration Skills: Experience integrating applications using RESTful APIs SOAP services and messaging systems (e.g. Kafka JMS).
. Database Knowledge: Familiarity with relational databases (e.g. Oracle PostgreSQL MySQL) and basic SQL for data handling and persistence.
. Microservices Architecture: Understanding of microservices-based architectures and distributed systems.
. Testing Skills: Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit Mockito) and integration testing approaches.
. Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to identify and resolve performance and process-related issues.
. Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including architects business analysts and QA teams.
. Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices and participation in sprint ceremonies.


Nice-to-Have (Bonus Skills)

. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure AWS or GCP)
. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
. Exposure to security concepts (OAuth2 JWT SSO)
. Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes)
