Job Duties:
- Assist in the opening and closing of all work orders. Perform this function with accuracy and make recommendations and changes as necessary and/or as directed by the department manager.
- Process and file all open OEM warranty claims
- Maintain current warranty A/R status including correction and re-submittal and claim reconciliation
- Ensure warranty claims are appealed with OEM guidelines
- Ensure warranty parts are returned within OEM guidelines
- Responsible for department paperwork filing
- Print/post departmental benchmarks
- Maintain administrative benchmarks i.e. invoicing throughput
- Maintain/monitor database
- Coordinate all future centralized warranty administration
- Perform administrative functions that help any and all departments maintain proper customer satisfaction.
- Help answer telephones and perform administrative duties on an as needed basis.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in warranty processing or administration is required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in using warranty management software and systems
- Knowledge of warranty policies and procedures
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
