Pay range: Starting at $20.53
Location: The town of Cohasset is seeking a playground program manager for the summer program with the recreation department. This position reports to the Recreation Director.
Description of responsibilities:
The playground program manager supervises 12-18 support staff and 18-24 junior volunteers and manages all childrens transitions to and from swim lessons tennis summer school etc.
The primary responsibility of all the staff is to supervise and lead children aged 5-9 through the Playground program. Activities such as games sports arts and crafts songs dance drama and field trips while ensuring a safe supervised environment. Additional duties include supporting the director and coordinators participating in training sessions maintaining records such as weekly attendance and accident reports and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and grounds. Staff will also enforce Recreation Department rules and policies related to the program and deliver exceptional customer service to both patrons and fellow staff members

Requirements:
CPR: All applicants must hold a current CPR certification. CPR classes will be provided to staff at no cost.
2026 Summer Program Dates:
June 29 - August 7th.
Session 1 Monday-Friday June 29-July 17th
Session 2 - Monday - Friday July 20- August 7th.
Orientation - week of June 22.
