About the Shift Lead Position

Bean Sprouts is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Shift Lead with a passion for providing an exceptional guest experience and creating a positive work environment. As the Bean in Charge (our title for our Shift Lead position) you ensure each guest has a top-notch Bean Sprouts support café operations and foster positivity and playfulness within the team.

This position is part-time 20-30 hours per week within the hours of 8am - 5pm Monday through Sunday. Must be available weekends and holidays.

Shift Lead Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day café operations including opening and closing the café preparing menu items and providing an exceptional guest experience
• Ensure that all menu items are consistently prepared and served according to Bean Sprouts recipes portioning cooking and serving standards
• Follow and communicate Bean Sprouts policies to team members and ensure standard operating procedures are followed at all times
• Create a healthy innovative positive and playful work environment in alignment with Bean Sprouts HIPP Core Values
• Support a safe and inclusive work environment by ensuring all safety protocols are followed and addressing or sharing any concerns

• Available to work weekends and holidays with seasonal flexibility
• At least 1 year of restaurant experience with a strong commitment to customer service
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
• Enjoy a playful work environment and be comfortable interacting with kids
• Food Handlers Certificate within first 30 days of employment
• The physical requirements for this position are bending reaching lifting up to 25 pounds and being able to stand for 4 to 8 hours with or without accommodation.
