Shift: Day Shift (6:30 AM 7:00 PM) 3x12-Hour

Job Description:

Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity hospital ED on a travel contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong emergency nursing experience prior travel experience and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced trauma-level environment caring for diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a 64-bed Emergency Department
• Manage high-acuity cases including stroke sepsis trauma MI cardiac arrest and respiratory failure
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care in critical situations
• Administer medications treatments and emergency interventions as needed
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Float across units as required
• Support charge nurse responsibilities when needed (preferred)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS certifications required
• TNCC certification required (must be in hand)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with pediatric and adult populations required
• Strong clinical judgment in high-pressure environments
