About the Role

Social service agencies are the backbone of our community but they are currently drowning in an Administrative Tax. Most caseworkers spend up to 50% of their week fighting with messy spreadsheets and disconnected systems instead of helping families. This doesnt just lead to staff burnout it forces vulnerable people to relive their trauma by retelling their stories every time they meet a new organization.

Transform is an Edmonton tech startup spun out of IslamicFamily. We are a high-growth SaaS platform helping agencies streamline data workflows and build powerful reporting views. We provide a platform that automates the boring administrative tasks protects client dignity through advanced privacy and gives caseworkers their time back.

The Role: Our Market Scout

We dont expect you to be a closing expert on day one. Your mission is to be our Market Scout. Youll work directly with our leadership team to identify potential customers map out decision-makers and help us get our foot in the door.

Part-Time: 30 hours per week

What Youll Be Doing

• Target Research: Using LinkedIn Google and databases to find agencies that fit our ideal customer profile.
• Outbound Outreach: Crafting personalized thoughtful emails and messages that stand out in a crowded inbox.
• CRM Management: Keeping our sales engine (Pipedrive) clean organized and up-to-date.
• Shadowing: Jumping on live sales calls to witness high-level negotiations and system demos first-hand.
• Mastering Discovery: Learning how to ask the leading questions that uncover real business problems.

Who You Are (No Experience Required)

• A Student: Currently enrolled in a Business Communications or similar program.
• A Self-Starter: You dont need someone looking over your shoulder to get work done.
• A Communicator: You can write a professional email thats personable.
• Fearless: You arent afraid to pick up the phone or send a message to someone you dont know.
• Competitive: You like winning whether its in sports video games or academics.
