Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Reseda California
Salary Range: $45-48 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week Monday-Friday (No weekend rotation)
Facility: 117-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to improve their functional abilities.
- Perform a variety of therapeutic exercises and techniques to help patients regain strength balance and mobility.
- Utilize specialized equipment and modalities to assist in the rehabilitation process.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and proper body mechanics to prevent injuries.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles techniques and modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- CPR certification.
