SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Production Supervisor this person is responsible for reading and interpreting product batching requirements for dumping addition this person is responsible for the filling of drums and pails and bagging of aseptic products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies safety rules procedures and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. The Organization chart indicated key personnel with the authority to take action. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

- Follow all safety standards.
- Fill pails drums and bag/pack aseptic Finished Goods.
- Relieve filler/dumper for breaks.
- Monitor packaging inventory keep supervisor informed as to current availability issued to the Industrial Line.
- Inform Production Supervisor of any problems in the operation or maintenance of processing equipment.
- Start-up and shutdown of Dumping and/or Filling area.
- Basic operation of Aseptic Filler as required to assist in Aseptic filling operations.
- Stack boxes and pails up to 60 lbs.
- Record information from Production and Manufacturer labels.
- Support the removal of empty drums.
- Strapping or shrink wrapping of drums and pails as required.
- Cleaning and Sanitation of dumping and filling equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Required physical demands are as follows:- Frequent hand finger and wrist movement to handle or feel objects tools or controls.
- Reaching with hands and arms. Use of hands is required when banding a pallet of drums
together placing film stretch on product when writing out and placing a pallet tag on the
pallets and transferring of food ingredients to plastic pallets for staging. - Requires standing (80%) and walking (20%).
- The employee frequently is required to talk listen/use hearing stand walk stoop kneel or
crouch and/or use repetitive hand motions. - The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.
- Constantly lift up to 10 pounds may frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lifts up to
50 pounds - May be required to move drums weighing 340 to 600 pounds with assistance.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Six months to one-year position related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Constantly work under tight time constraints or with business activities of a seasonal/cyclical nature.
- Occasionally work mandatory overtime.
- May occasionally have exposures to extreme wet and/or humid conditions heat/cold temperatures and loud machine/equipment noise and outside extreme weather conditions (heat cold wind etc.).
- The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles.
Pay Information
Salary range: $19.60 - $22.19/hr. based on qualifications
This range reflects the full pay scale for all roles within this positions grade. The actual salary offer will consider various factors such as experience and if applicable location.
