Vice President, Innovation

Position: Vice President Innovation
Reports to: Chairman and CEO
Location: Columbus Ohio
Pay Range: $250000 - $300000

Superior is seeking a Vice President of Innovation to identify test and implement technologies that improve how we build and operate. This role will work across the entire organization from our jobsite teams to our corporate functions to drive practical technologies (software and hardware) that make our business even better. This position will be based at our headquarters in Columbus Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and drive the companys near and long-term innovation strategy
• Serve as Superiors main point of contact and a public-facing innovation leader on new construction and corporate technologies
• Partner with the CEO to align leaders around innovation priorities and change initiatives
• Identify and evaluate new innovation technologies
• Build and manage relationships with startups venture capital firms and manufacturers
• Lead pilots to test new technologies in jobsite and corporate environments ensuring clear success criteria
• Partner with colleagues to validate ROI and scalability
• Chair the Product Review Council to help evaluate ROI risk and operational fit
• Drive successful rollout of proven solutions across the organization
• Foster a culture of digital fluency experimentation and continuous learning

• Required: You have proven experience in construction innovation corporate innovation venture capital startups or strategy consulting

• Required: You have experience working with startups or venture capital firms

• Bonus Points: You have experience supporting with the analysis and diligence of strategic investments and partnerships
