Job Summary
Job Description:
1. Mission
Lead commercial and contractual activities for assigned defence programmes ensuring compliance with customer requirements contractual obligations and effective stakeholder communication across the contract lifecycle
2.Main Activities
Lead contract review bid preparation and commercial compliance matrices
Interpret contract requirements manage change and resolve conflict
Maintain Contract trackers milestones and payment schedules
Analyze the risks issues and opportunities of various contract terms and present them
Assist invoicing documentation and follow up actions to ensure timely receipt of payment
Coordinate with Legal Finance Program Management Supply Chain and Engineering teams
Prepare clear commercial summaries trackers and presentations forinternal reviews
Represent the company to diverse customers including Government of India defense institutions with responsibility to develop and/or maintain effective working relationships with customer counterparts
3. Skills & Competencies
Strong business communication and negotiation capability
Proven stakeholder management across cross-functional and customer teams
Solid understanding of contract management and commercial risk
Detail-oriented compliance-focused and structured working style
High level of professionalism integrity and confidentiality
Proficiency in MS Office
Knowledge of Defence Acquisition Procedure (DAP) and Defence Procurement Manual (DPM) of the Ministry of Defence Government of India with specific reference to Standard Contract Document Terms & Conditions.
4. Qualification & Experience
Bachelors degree (Engineering / Law / Management / Commerce);
Postgraduate qualification in Law or Management would strengthen candidature
4-5 years of experience in Defence aerospace or regulated project environments
5. Functional Reporting
Reports to: Commercial & Contracts Manager
