PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Senior Process Support role exists to design implement and embed Blackwoods enterprise process management framework during the proof of concept and early scale phase. The role establishes enterprise standards governance prioritisation mechanisms and scalable ways of working that enable consistent process documentation structured analysis and future improvement. Ownership prioritisation decision making and final sign off remain with onshore business process owners and the Enterprise PMO.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Process Governance and Framework Establishment
- Design and establish the enterprise process management framework including process hierarchy documentation depth standards and quality criteria.
- Define clear roles decision rights and approval pathways ensuring ongoing ownership sits with onshore business process owners.
- Cocreate lightweight governance arrangements with the Enterprise PMO and business stakeholders.
- Ensure all frameworks standards and changes are reviewed and formally approved onshore.
2. Scalable Process Documentation Model Enablement
- Design the endtoend process documentation delivery model used for the proof of concept.
- Define standard intake briefing review quality assurance and approval workflows between onshore and offshore teams.
- Establish acceptance criteria and quality controls to ensure offshore outputs are decisionready for business review.
- Support early delivery waves to validate and refine the model prior to wider rollout.
3. Process Analysis Insight and AI Readiness
- Define the level of process detail required to support bottleneck analysis handoff clarity automation and AI readiness.
- Enable offshore teams to surface structured insights without making ownership decisions or recommendations.
- Ensure documented processes are suitable for future digitisation automation and AI initiatives.
- Provide structured input into process analytics and prioritisation discussions led onshore.
4. Capability Transfer and Transition to Steady State
- Build process stewardship capability within the Enterprise PMO and business.
- Develop playbooks standards and guidance to enable ongoing operation beyond the POC.
- Define and recommend future operating model resourcing and governance options.
- Ensure the organisation can sustain the process management system without dependency on this role.
Reports functionally into the Enterprise PMO.
- Operates in partnership with onshore business process owners.
- All enterprise frameworks standards and major decisions require onshore EPMO and business approval.
- The role enables and supports process ownership; it does not replace it.
Experience/Skills Required:
- 8 years experience in enterprise process management operational excellence transformation or PMO environments.
- Proven experience building process capability from first principles not just documenting processes.
- Demonstrated success establishing governance frameworks that scale across functions and geographies.
- Experience working with offshore or distributed delivery models.
- Experience operating in buildandtransition phases of enterprise capability creation
- Strong enterprise and systems thinking.
- Ability to design practical frameworks that enable scale.
- High attention to quality consistency and operational discipline.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across senior and operational levels.
- Structured problemsolving and analytical capability.
- Ability to translate ambiguity into clear standards guidance and ways of working.
- Comfortable operating at the intersection of process technology automation and AI.
