As a Security Officer High School Diploma Patrol in Falls Church VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Allied Universal officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for patients visitors and staff. This unarmed role blends routine patrols with strong customer service communication and teamwork reflecting our caring culture reliability agility innovation and integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff patients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional and problem-solving manner including supporting de-escalation and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility grounds parking areas and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances common areas and other assigned posts to help regulate access observe activity and report suspicious behavior hazards and/or policy violations.
• Document incidents observations and daily activities accurately and promptly and communicate relevant information to supervisors staff and/or first responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
