The opportunity

The Innovation Analyst leads the design delivery and evaluation of innovation initiatives that enhance the EPAs effectiveness as a modern evidence-based and customer-focused regulator. The role contributes to identifying emerging trends analysing business challenges testing new approaches and providing insights that inform strategic decision-making digital transformation and continuous improvement across the organisation.

About you

You are a curious forward-thinking professional who thrives on solving complex problems and turning ideas into practical real-world improvements. You enjoy working at the intersection of innovation data and service delivery and are motivated by opportunities to improve systems processes and outcomes for the community.

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience:

  • Curious forward-thinking professional with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret emerging trends and technologies
  • Able to translate complex information into practical actionable insights and recommendations
  • Experience or interest in agile human-centred design service design or innovation methodologies
  • Confident collaborator who enjoys working with diverse stakeholders to co-design solutions
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous and evolving environments balancing innovation with governance and risk considerations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare clear reports presentations and visual materials for varied audiences
  • Effective at managing competing priorities and delivering quality outcomes under pressure
  • Motivated to build capability share knowledge and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
  • Experience in innovation digital transformation research and analysis or regulatory environments highly regarded.
