YOUR ROLE

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all instrumentation control systems visualization and information management is performed optimally and aligned with operational and reporting requirements.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the maintenance management and optimization of all instrumentation control systems and SCADA visuals industrial networking and production information management on all DSA sites.

Managing requests from all parties to ensure the system remains optimal and fit for purpose in line with world class manufacturing standards.

Managing the critical spares requirement for all electronics and instrumentation.

Initiate and execute innovations and process improvements either through continuous improvements or larger projects.

Managing and negotiating with external suppliers to ensure cost effective management of instrumentation and controls.

Ensure production and equipment data and information are available where and when it is required.

Implementing of best-in-class strategies to reduce costs and constant improvement of processes.

Familiar with Root Cause Analysis and various techniques to solve problems.

Based on your continuous analyses you integrate and execute best practices to improve engineering services.

Continuous learning and benchmarking with the industry should enable you to develop and implement highest standards at the company.

Your standard working agenda includes regular presentations to upper management related to overall performance whilst building and driving applicable action plans.

YOUR EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Diploma in Mechatronic/Electronic Engineering.

510 years experience within a manufacturing environment with strong exposure to instrumentation PLCs SCADA systems and historians.

A strong background in instrumentation installation configuration calibration and validation.

Strong working knowledge of ASI IO Link Profinet Siemens TIA Portal VSDs Ignition SCADA and SAP.

Compiling and Reading P&IDs and Wiring diagrams familiar with E-plan.

An understanding of Industrial networks & cyber security.

Created Functional Description Specifications according to requirements.

Familiar with ISA-88 & ISA95 programming standard and the implementation and troubleshooting of it.

You are a strong communicator and fluent in at least English.

Manufacturing processes & Product knowledge.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
