Fire Suppression Systems Designer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Suppression System Designer to join our growing team. Responsibilities:

• Design wet dry pre-action and clean agent fire suppression systems for complex commercial and mission-critical facilities
• Produce accurate 2D construction drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD including layout plans isometrics riser diagrams and hydraulic calculation documentation
• Ensure all designs comply with NFPA 13 NFPA 12 NFPA 2001 and applicable local codes and standards
• Collaborate with project managers engineers field installers and other trades to ensure designs are buildable and meet client specifications
• Coordinate with architects and mechanical/electrical teams during design development
• Prepare submittal packages as-built drawings and design documentation for AHJ review and approval
• Communicate design intent clearly to clients inspectors and internal stakeholders
• Stay current on code updates new suppression technologies and industry best practices

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in fire suppression system design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and 3D modeling (2 years required)
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA 13 NFPA 12 NFPA 2001 and related codes
• Experience designing for commercial buildings is necessary.
• Familiarity with hydraulic calculation software (HydraCALC SprinkCALC or similar)
• Knowledge of clean agent suppression systems (FM-200 Novec 1230 CO2) and pre-action systems a plus
• NICET certification a plus
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work full-time MondayFriday on-site in Denver CO

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $30$35/hr
