Are you interested in Business Promotion Activities and have experience from planning and executing high level delegations and State visits We are now looking for a Project Manager to join our Delegation team in Stockholm.

Business Sweden has a unique export and investment promotion mandate assigned by the Swedish government and the private sector to contribute to economic growth and social welfare in Sweden. We support Swedish companies to grow abroad and international companies to invest and expand in Sweden.

With the purpose to promote Swedish companies business opportunities in international markets Business Sweden plans and executes several Business Promotion Activities (BPA) with participating companies and other partners. These activities are targeted initiatives to support international networking and collaboration business opportunities and to promote Swedish competitiveness in the global business landscape.

State visits and outgoing business delegations led by key ministers from Sweden are an important activity to promote Sweden and Swedish companies abroad. Similarly hosting incoming business delegations to Sweden related to foreign state visits or ministers are important opportunities to promote Swedish Companies and Investment opportunities in Sweden. The role for Business Sweden is to plan execute and follow-up on business related activities during state visits and incoming and outgoing delegations led by key ministers.

To strengthen the current team we are now looking for a Project Manager to join our Delegations team part of the Marketing & Communication function. For this role we are looking for an experienced collaborative and well organised colleague. The role supports the regional desk officers and local Managers when planning executing and following up on state visits and delegation. The role will be located at Business Swedens Headquarters centrally located at World Trade Center in Stockholm and you will be expected to work with our teams and clients around the world as required. You will be reporting to VP Marketing & Communications.

The role includes both strategic tactic and operational responsibilities such as:

• Project management at HQ for regional collaboration and support to Regional Managers Export promotion/ Desk Officers
• Project set up support/process strategic insights budget playbook use and formal applications.
• Liaisons with our Inhouse agency PR team Invest Strategic Projects Trade & Dev elopment (and additional local delivery teams) and the Head of Export Promotion.
• Calendar co-ordination with Head of Export Promotion
• Point of Contact for Foreign Ministry at HQ for outgoing/incoming delegations (regional promotion leads and desk officers)
• Protocol (calendar planning and follow up)
• Team Sweden co-lab to update website and calendar
• Foreign Embassies and Chambers point of contact in Sweden
• Best practice and internal education
• Developing our delivery and continuously evaluating our impact

The role is based in Stockholm but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients around the world as required.
