Chairo Christian School is a growing non-denominational Christian school with 1900 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

We are currently seeking the services of a dedicated First Aid & Student Administration Assistant to work at our Pakenham campus commencing as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring Christian environment and assist with all aspects of student reception as well as providing support for a range of general office administration tasks throughout the week.
Some key responsibilities will include the following:
Providing a godly example to students and fellow staff members through their practice manner relationships and general lifestyle
Providing first aid and dispensing medications to students as required
Assisting the First Aid Officer in the smooth running of the First Aid department
Ensuring a safe and positive environment so that students can feel they are cared for
Dealing with parent student and medical / first aid queries and requests
Ensuring all first aid and medical requirements are met for camps and excursions
The successful candidate will also possess the following important characteristics:
Demonstrated commitment to the schools Statement of Faith
Qualifications and/or experience as a First Aid Assistant
Excellent people skills and a professional and friendly demeanour
A high standard of computer literacy including MS Word and Excel
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Ability to provide a satisfactory Working with Children Check
