Operations Support Volunteer

He aha te tūranga - About the role: 

We have an opportunites with our Hauraki/Coromandel team for non-clinical persons to volunteer as Operational Support. We are seeking volunteers at the below stations:

• Whangamata
• Whitianga
• Waihi
• Paeroa
• Thames

This is an important ambulance support role with a primary focus to prepare Hato Hone St John vehicles for operational readiness which means youll be an essential worker supporting our front-line emergency service. The role will involve station administration ordering and driving of certain vehicles with additional project work as required. 

Were looking for flexible and adaptable people with no previous experience required - training provided!

Please note that this role does not include responding to medical emergencies and does not have a clinical component.

Qualifications :

Ko wai koe - About you:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Working knowledge of Hato Hone St John Operations preferred
• Full NZ drivers license
• Excellent organisation prioritisation and planning skills
• Reliability and punctuality (turning up on time is a big deal)
• Friendly approachable attitude
• The ability to work unsupervised or equally as part of a diverse team.
