NetApp is seeking a dynamic and results-driven District Sales Manager Commercial Sector to lead a team of sales professionals and drive revenue growth. As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for achieving sales goals building partnerships and coaching your team to success.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of sales representatives to exceed sales targets.
- Develop strategies and plans to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.
- Utilize your strong understanding of storage technologies and competitive offerings.
- Apply effective sales techniques such as target account selling and solution selling.
- Coach and develop team members to maximize their potential.
Job Requirements
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English are required.
- Strong relationship building and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of storage technologies and market trends is desirable.
- Experience in coaching and developing sales professionals.
- Experience in sales roles combined with proven people management responsibility including direct leadership of teams.
- Ideally experienced in Mid-Market / Commercial sales with strong exposure to land & expand motions and structured sales execution. Hunter mindset / new-logo acquisition experience strongly preferred with a track record of proactive pipeline creation.
- Experience leveraging AI in the sales process preferred.
- Experience running programmatic campaigns preferred to generate demand/pipeline (multi-touch motions vendor/BDR-supported campaigns).
This is a pipeline position that will be opened on a recurring basis and used to fill roles aligned with the required skill efforts will be ongoing until specific teams find an ideal match.
