Document Controller
Job Summary
manages the lifecycle of project documentation ensuring accuracy proper filing and version control. Key duties include utilizing Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) to organize distribute and archive files while maintaining compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation Management: Receiving scanning filing and distributing technical documents drawings and blueprints to project teams.
Revision Control: Ensuring the construction team uses the latest approved versions of documents and archiving obsolete files to avoid errors.
Compliance & Procedures: Reviewing documents for compliance with company or client templates and procedures.
Workflow Coordination: Coordinating between engineers contractors consultants and clients to ensure timely approvals.
Software Utilization: Utilizing the platform to manage workflows and generate status reports.
Administrative Support: Assisting the project management and QA/QC teams with document logs reports and audit preparations
Qualifications :
- A degree qualification
- Experience in ACONEX
- Qatar experience is advantageous
