Overview

• The Pricing and Offer Strategy AI Intern will support Vistras Residential Pricing team in developing and optimizing product pricing strategies using financial modeling data analysis and AI-driven tools. This role focuses on enhancing speed-to-market and improving pricing processes through automation leveraging Agentic AI approach

• During the 810 week internship the intern will gain hands-on experience in competitive retail energy markets and modern pricing strategy practices. The role will center on a high-impact project leveraging data and AI culminating in a final presentation of insights and recommendations to senior departmental leadership

Key Accountabilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams (Regulatory Marketing Product and Finance) to support pricing initiatives and go-to-market strategies

• Leverage in-house AI tools to improve pricing workflows automate repetitive processes and accelerate speed-to-market

• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to streamline pricing reporting and offer deployment

• Develop dashboards reports and visualizations to communicate pricing performance and recommendations to leadership

• Monitor competitor pricing market trends and regulatory impacts to inform strategy adjustments

• Document methodologies assumptions and decision frameworks to support consistency and scalability

Education Experience & Skill Requirements

• Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Economics Data Science Engineering Mathematics Computer Science or a related quantitative field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets and translate findings into business insights

• Experience or coursework in data analysis statistics or financial modeling

• Exposure to AI/ML concepts automation tools or prompt engineering is a strong plus

• Skilled in using computer software applications such as Microsoft Office (required) SQL/Python (required) Tableau (preferred)

• Familiarity with pricing retail energy markets or regulated industries is a plus but not required

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders

• Detail-oriented with a high level of intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn

• Interest in applying AI tools to real-world business problems
