Certified Med Aide Full-time or Part-time 2nd Shift

Oaknoll is currently seeking full-time and part-time CMAs to join our nursng care team! As a CMA you will be performing not only traditional CNA duties but would also be responsible for administering prescribed medications to residents and maintaining related medical records under the supervision of licensed medical staff. Scheduled hours will be from 3:00pm- 11:30pm. Some holidays and every other weekend will be required.

• Candidates must be a certified nurse aide in Iowa active on the Iowa Nurse Aide Registry.
• Candidates must have completed the class work and clinicals required to be certified as a medication aide or an oral medication technician.
• Candidates must be able to work collaboratively in a self-managed team environment.
• Candidates should have strong verbal communication skills for interacting with residents their families and coworkers.
• Prior experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting preferred.
