Key Responsibilities

• Design develop andoptimizeenterprise-scale data pipelines using Apache SparkIcebergDatabricksand AWS services to ensure accuracy consistency and performance across terabyte-scale datasets

• Participate in architectingscalable solutions for extracting transforming and loading structured and unstructured datausing modern data lake patterns

• Partner with analytics teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions from raw data to consumable data marts

• Monitor data pipeline performance and implement improvements that support scalability.

• Mentor team members and conduct code reviews tomaintainengineering excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.

• 3 years of hands-on experience withbigdatacloud-based technologies.

• Solidunderstanding ofAWS.

• Experiencebuilding projectswithDatabricksandIcebergisa requirement for this role.

• Working knowledge of Python and Java with experience in ETL workflows.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage priorities in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership experience or strong mentoring background withdemonstratedability to guide architectural decisions.

• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.

• Familiarity with cloud security architecture.

• Experience with modern BI tools and semantic layer technologies.

• Prior experience supporting production-grade systems in cloud environments.

This position willbelocatedinorTorontoand offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office subject to change providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
