Spangler Subaru is Hiring Experienced Service Technicians
We are currently seeking skilled Service Technicians to join our team in full-time positions.
Compensation:
Pay ranges from $16 to $25 per hour based on experience and skill level. Positions may be hourly or flat rate depending on qualifications.
Schedule:
- Hours: Mon Fri 7:30 AM 6:00 PM; Sat 7:30am 3:00pm
- Includes rotating Saturday shifts
- 4-day workweek
- Enjoy extended time off with 4 consecutive days off and a 5-day stretch off within a 6-week rotation

Responsibilities:
The Service Technician is responsible for performing automotive repairs and service in accordance Subaru standards. This individual utilizes his skills to diagnose and resolve the different sources of automotive problems swiftly and accurately. The Service Technician works with all Service personnel and management to ensure the satisfaction of our customers.
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
- Diagnosing cause of malfunction
- Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements
- Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
- Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
- Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
- Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools to include screwdrivers wrenches socket wrenches pliers hammers chisels and punches and other tools needed to perform the work for which the technician is trained and not normally inventoried by the service department as special tools.
- Return special tools to proper place.
- Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace completing a stall cleaning every day.
- Ensure that customers vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
- Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
- Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety welfare or integrity of the dealership its personnel or customers.
Qualifications:
- Prior automotive repair experience
- PA inspection & emissions OBDII emissions
- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess an acceptable driving record and a valid drivers license in your state of residence
