WHO WERE LOOKING FOR

The Liquor Co. 1977ishiring a experiencedShift Supervisor for ourTillicumLiquor Store located at Tillicum Mall (3170 Tillicum Rd Victoria BC V9A7C5).This is a permanent full-time role offering 32 - 40 hours perweek. Our ideal candidate has full availability throughout the week.

Applicants must be 19yearsof age.

We are a people first business with a strong focus on our customer andmember needs. We are looking for a like-minded individual to join our dedicatedteam. We want a leader who:

Is knowledgeable about alcoholic beverages andis comfortable recommending products

Has proven ability to driveliquor sales through team engagement and customer interaction

Has at least 2 years of experience in theliquor industry and 3 years working in customer-facing roles

Brings experience withliquor tastings events or product demonstrations

Has a current Serving ItRight certificate (required in advance of starting)

Holds a WSET level 1 (required in advance of starting)

Has strong customer focusand presence on the floor

Enjoys creating positive customer experiencesand goes above and beyond in service delivery

Has strong cash handling skills and theability to process transactions efficiently

Values safety integrity and teamwork and isa role model for both colleagues and customers

Is physically capable of standing for extendedperiods and handling products up to 50 lb

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

Supporting the Manager and the Assistant Managerthe Shift Supervisor acts in a leadership capacity to ensure the effectiveoperation of the department. Key areas of responsibility include ensuring apleasant comfortable and safe shopping experience for our customers; being arole model for the team and providing support to enable them to do their jobsand develop their skills. Growth and training opportunities are available ifyou are looking for advancement! We love to promote from within & over 70%of our leaders started with our organization in roles just like this one!
