Position Purpose:
At Mercy Medical Center the Operating Room RN delivers safe high-quality care to surgical patients.
What You Will Do:
Provide intraoperative care by performing circulating and/or scrub duties including patient positioning site prep instrumentation and sterile technique.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient coordinated care throughout procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associates degree in Nursing is required
Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Ideal candidates will have 1 or more years of intraoperative nursing experience including circulating and scrub experience.
Preferred:
Current BLS/CPR (AHA or Red Cross)
Familiarity with AORN standards
Position Highlights:
Per Diem Rotating Shifts
Shift requirement for thisOption C position will require a commitment of: 8 (eight) shifts per monthcomprised of off-shifts and 1 (one) weekend shift per month. **If the weekend is not needed that month the eighth shift will still be required based on unit needs.
You will be required to work two holidays per year.
On Call requirement: Must participate in on-call rotation based on unit needs. A minimum of one time per month is required.
Hourly Union position Per Diem Flat Rate: $63.85
