As a Security Officer Judicial Screenerin West Palm Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Screener in a government location you will help monitor entry points conduct screening activities and support a professional welcoming experience for visitors and staff. This role combines strong communication attention to detail and customer service while helping address security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures access control activities and/or emergency response protocols at a government location.
• Screen visitors staff and/or personal items entering the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents prohibited items and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report observations through appropriate channels.
• Verify identification maintain visitor logs and help to control entry and exit points based on site requirements.
• Support a professional presence at screening checkpoints while communicating clearly with the public client representatives and/or law enforcement personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or a college degree in criminal justice.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a guard card.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
