The Vice President of Sales will lead all sales activity for the Northeast Region managing a team of geographically dispersed Corporate Accounts Managers Technical Account Managers Regional Sales Managers and Sales Development Managers. This position will be responsible for setting sales strategies and goals developing the team and achieving regional VP of Sales Northeast will facilitate enterprise selling with partners from across all of Ecolabs business units to drive success in key market segments. This position will actively participate in the Senior Management Team for the Pest Elimination division.
Northeast Region covers: Maine Vermont New Hampshire Massachusetts Rhode Island Connecticut New York Pennsylvania New Jersey Delaware Maryland Virginia West Virginia Kentucky Ohio Indiana
Location: Ideal candidate will reside in or be willing to relocate to anywhere in the Northeast Region close to a major airport

What You Will Do
- Recruit train and develop a high caliber regional team of Corporate Accounts Managers Regional Sales Managers and Sales Development Managers.
- Establish and evaluate team and individual objectives for the West Region.
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver the highest level of performance possible.
- Achieve regions sales goals and contribute to achievement of divisions sales goals.
- Collaborate with internal partners to drive enterprise selling with Ecolabs various business units in alignment with broad customer needs and value drivers.
- Evaluate individual sales efforts against measurable performance requirements and targets ensuring that the region is successfully meeting new sales and portfolio management expectations.
- Implement and oversee appropriate sales processes technologies procedures and support needed to increase individual and team effectiveness.
- Participate in the development implementation and evaluations of sales strategies in key market segments with the Marketing team.
- Monitor competitive activity communicate internally and develop appropriate plans of action.
- Identify prioritize and manage relationships within targeted set of clients to create measurable business results for the West Region.
- Demonstrate deep industry knowledge. Support local and national Industry Relations events and associations.
Dimensions Size ofBusiness /Scope
- This position is accountable for Corporate Account Managers and Technical Account Managers Regional Sales Managers and Sales Development Managers.
- Reports to the Pest Eliminations VP Global Sales Institutional Segments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of five years of Ecolab related experience or a High School diploma and six or more years of Ecolab related experience
- 5 years of successful experience in B2B sales
- 2 years of sales management experience
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
- Functional ability to operate computer and computer applications
