The Role
The Financial Aid Advisor advises students on funding options to attend or remain in studies educates learners about the many options available and assists in the application processes to access the funds. The position provides guidance to students in crisis situations and advocates on the students behalf when necessary with internal and external agencies.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have two years post secondary education. An Office Administration or Business Administration Diploma is preferred. An equivalent education and experience will be considered.
Necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include:
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook;
- strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- ability to handle difficult student situations; and
- a high level of integrity professionalism and accountability.
