Yard Driver

Premier Staffing Solutionis hiring experienced Class A Yard Drivers forone of our clients in Louisville KY.As a Class AYard Driveryou willbe responsible formoving trailers to and fromthe dockdoorsas necessary. Mandatory overtime is possible and likely. This is a direct hirefull timeposition that offers competitive compensation with paid holidays vacation and 401k plan. Yard Drivers are members of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 89.

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL License preferred

• High school diploma or GED

• Yard Spotting experience is highly preferred

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable work experience

• Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) and background

• Current DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one

• Abide by all OSHA rules DOTregulationsandPremier Staffing SolutionSafety Practices

• Abide by all rules and regulationsas theypertain to the Teamsters Contract

What to expect as a Class A Yard Driver:

• Prioritizeworkload

• Perform inspection of vehicle prior to and after operation

• Move trailers in and out ofdockas directed by management

• Chock trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading

• Orderly maintenance of the yard

• Inspection of trailers prior to loading

• Willbe responsible forinputting data into a Yard Management System

• Maintain a Level of Service within a 2 hour turn around

• Ensure cleanliness of work area is maintained

• Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met

• Cross training as

• Other duties as needed or assigned
