Salary:Base salary38247.41 - 45896.13per annum (depending on skills and experience)

About the role

Join our Workshop Team to repair andmaintainmechanical equipment such as pumps blowers gearboxes and drive systems. Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and health & safety standards.

What you willbe responsible for:

• Overhaul mechanical assets including pumps motors gearboxes and drive units.

• Interpret mechanical technical drawings and repair assets to manufacturer specifications.

• Recommend upgrades and cost-effective solutions to operational colleagues.

• Provide on-site technicalassistanceand advice over the phone when.

• Operate machine tools such as lathes drills and milling machines.

• Work in anorganisedmanner with health and safety as a priority.

Additional Requirements

Occasional cover at other sites may be.

Whatyoullbring to the role:

Essential

• Level 3 NVQ in a mechanical discipline or equivalent.

• Experience with pumps motors gearboxes and mechanical drive systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Full UK drivinglicence.

Desirable

• Experience operating machine tools (lathes drills milling machines).

• Background as a fitter-turner or similar industrial apprenticeship.
