We are currently seeking a Production Planning Associate to join our team!

On-site requirement: 5 days/week

Location: 2400 Skymark Avenue Unit 4 Mississauga ON.

The pay range for this role is: $60000 - $65000

Placement within the range will be determined based on relevant skills experience qualifications and internal equity. The final offer will reflect the successful candidates background and demonstrated capabilities.

This position is an existing vacancy within the organization.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with customer orders and forecasted demand.
• Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
• Monitor production progress and adjust plans as needed to address delays or changes in demand.
• Optimize production workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency lead times and capacity utilization.
• Communicate production plans and updates to relevant departments and stakeholders.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve production throughput.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation for reporting and compliance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.
• Creates and Maintains Holiday Schedule tracking and Improvements.
• Able to schedule effectively according to transit times and rural planning.
• Collates and Verifies MBRs related to the Planning Functions for Picking.
• Maintains up-to-date training designated for this position and training documents.
• Any related tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Undergraduate degree or college diploma in a relevant discipline plus two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience
• Prior experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience in a Manufacturing environment relevant to the companys industry.
• Knowledge of SAP expert Planning and pulling Reports
• Proficient in Excel and Analyzing Data.
• Proficiency with Production planning software ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
• Preferred experience in production planning manufacturing or operations background.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels both inside and outside the organization.
• Strong computer skills in MS Office /Excel /PowerPoint/Access
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and handle fluctuating workloads.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent continuous improvement skills
• Proven ability to adhere to standards & procedures and maintain confidentiality.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
