Description

As a Sr Field Service Technician Building Automation here at Honeywell you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and expertise for our Niagara building automation systems. Your in-depth knowledge of Niagara software and systems will be essential in troubleshooting diagnosing and resolving technical issues to ensure the optimal performance of our building automation systems. You will report directly to the onsite manager at DFW Airport and youll work out of our DFW Airport location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role you will have a direct impact on the efficiency and functionality of our building automation systems contributing to the comfort safety and energy efficiency of our customers facilities.



Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with Niagara building automation systems
  • Perform system maintenance upgrades and repairs
  • Conduct troubleshooting diagnostics and repairs on complex technical issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades as required
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to provide technical support and solutions
  • Conduct system testing and commissioning
  • Provide training and guidance to customers and colleagues on Niagara systems


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2 or more years of HVAC Building Automation experience
  • 2 or more years of experience as a Niagara Technician or in a similar Software experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Niagara building automation systems
  • In-depth knowledge of control systems plans specifications and solid understanding of contracting relationships
  • Competent in MS Word Excel Project and Outlook
  • Excellent customer service skills with experience in technical phone or onsite customer support including good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel both locally to customer sites and overnight up to 25% as workload demands
  • Valid drivers license and safe driving record ability to pass background check
