What you bring to SBHG :
Education& Experience
High Schooldiplomaor equivalent( HiSET etc.)
Personal experience as a consumer inmental health child welfare juvenile justice and/or past substance Abuse Recovery experience
Experience in a mental health health care or other social services agency/organization serving people with disabilitiesa plus
License or Certification
Peer Support Specialist Certification: successful completion of the certification process within one year ofemploymentpreferred.
Valid California Drivers License

This position is responsible for working withfamilies which includes caregivers parents and natural supportsto help represent their best interests. ThePeer Partner Counselor participates invarious treatment teammeetings and actively participates inthedevelopment ofcare Peer Partner Counselordemonstrates the ability to conduct a strengths interview with family members; tellownstory to engage families; build on family strengths; communicate clearly; complete documentation and assist other team members in coordinating services.
Division/Program Overview:
Community-Based and Family Centered programs.
TEAMMATES offers Wraparound Intensive Field Capable Clinical Services (IFCCS) and IFCCS Outreach Triage Team and Child Outreach Triage Team services that cover a full range of treatment and support.
24 hours of referral receipt and services are delivered countywide by the same team
24-hour Crisis Intervention
SED Children and Adolescent driven program.
Client and Family driven program with mutually agreed by service provider and family.
Contract with DMH and Child Protected Services and Probation.
