JOB SUMMARY:

This role plays a critical part in ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process through the coordination of hiring activities management of candidate pipelines oversight of job postings and support of social media recruitment initiatives. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is instrumental in attracting top talent enhancing thecandidateexperience and supporting the organizations broader recruitment strategy. Working collaboratively under the mentorship of the Talent Acquisition Partner this role helps execute hiring prioritiesfor the teamwhile reporting to the Manager of People.

PRIMARY DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment Coordination & Support

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process across multiple roles based on hiring priorities.
  • Conductandcoordinate interviews including scheduling and candidate communication.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess basic qualifications and alignment.
  • Provide ongoing support to theteamand hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience at all stages.
  • Maintainaccurateand up-to-date candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System(ATS).
  • Build strong working relationships with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and support recruitment planning.

Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development

  • Support sourcing efforts through LinkedIn job boards and other recruitment channelsas needed.
  • Build andmaintaintalent pipelines aligned with current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct outreach to passive candidates and support ongoing recruitment campaigns.
  • Identifyopportunities to improve recruitment processes candidate experience and sourcing strategies.

Social Media & Employer Branding

  • Manage andmaintainAMSs presence on social media platforms.
  • Create and post content to promote open roles and support recruitment campaigns.
  • Support employer branding initiatives aligned with hiring priorities and overall recruitment strategy.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure consistent and engaging messaging.

Administrative Support & Collaboration

  • Prepare candidate summaries and supportthe teamwithhiring decisions.
  • Track recruitment activity and provide updates on hiring progress.
  • Support offer letter preparation reference checks credential verification and pre-employment requirements as assigned.
  • Ensure recruitment practices align with company policies employment standards privacy requirements andequitablehiring practices.

Onboarding & In-Office Support

  • Support onboarding activities including coordination of new hire documentation and communication.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee by supporting onboardinglogistics.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure new hires have a positive onboarding experience.
  • Provide on-site support for recruitment and onboarding initiatives as needed.

Metrics & Reporting Accountability:

  • Monitor recruitment metrics including time-to-fill candidate pipeline activity and sourcing effectiveness.
  • Support reporting to improve recruitment processes and hiring outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience in high-volume recruitment isrequired.
  • Certificateand/or diploma inhumanresources businessor relatededucationisrequired.
  • Experience in healthcarerecruitmentispreferred.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems experience with UKGor Avatureisan asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in social media management or content creation is an asset.
