Reporting to the EVP Finance and Support Services CFO CIO the Director Finance will lead core financial operations including reporting budgeting and planning while serving as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization. This is a compelling opportunity for a seasoned healthcare finance leader to step into a re-established role within a highly respected mission-driven mental health organization. With a strong and capable finance team in place the role is designed to enable focus on quality insight and strategic partnership providing the opportunity to elevate how finance supports decision-making at both the operational and enterprise level. At a time of continued evolution and investment in leadership capacity the Director will play a key role in strengthening financial reporting to the Board and Ministry supporting clinical and operational leaders and ensuring financial discipline aligns with Ontario Shores recovery-oriented mission. The ideal candidate is a CPAâdesignated finance leader with progressive experience in healthcare or the broader public sector bringing both strategic perspective and operational discipline. They are known for their ability to take complex concepts translate them into clear plans and execute with confidence. While experience with hospital or ministry reporting budgeting and performance management is important success in this role will ultimately be defined by leadership maturity sound judgment credibility and the ability to get things done. This individual leads with trust not micromanagement and brings a collaborative coachingâoriented style that builds confidence and capability in others. They are skilled at working across disciplines partnering effectively with clinical leaders research technology and peer directors and are comfortable supporting leaders with varying levels of financial literacy.
