Job Title: BMT / Oncology Clinical Pharmacist Location: Las Vegas NV 89128 Pay Range: $64.16 $83.41 per hour (based on years of experience)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a highly skilled BMT / Oncology Clinical Pharmacist to deliver advanced clinical pharmacy services in a Cancer Care Clinic with rotational coverage in an inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Oncology unit.
This role focuses on supporting patients with hematologic malignancies solid tumors and those undergoing stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal evidence-based pharmacotherapy and exceptional patient outcomes.
This position offers a high degree of clinical autonomy and involvement in complex therapeutic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for hematology oncology and BMT patients
Optimize pharmacotherapy through clinical interventions and therapeutic drug monitoring
Develop implement and maintain oncology order sets protocols and treatment guidelines
Support autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplant regimens
Manage advanced therapies including CAR T-cell and BiTE treatments
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams on treatment planning and regimen selection
Perform medication order verification and support distribution processes
Deliver patient education and counseling on oncology therapies
Participate in clinical research initiatives and support ongoing trials
Contribute to quality improvement efforts and evidence-based practice advancements
Represent pharmacy services in committees and interdisciplinary meetings
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
Active Pharmacist License in the state of Nevada
Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP)
Experience Requirements
PGY2 Residency in Oncology and/or Bone Marrow Transplant Pharmacy OR
Minimum of 5 years of clinical oncology pharmacy experience
Experience in a BMT/Oncology clinical setting with collaborative practice agreements
