Duties:

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing facility and possess a strong understanding material handling. As an Operator you will be responsible for operating forklifts Sanitizing and maintaining a safe work environment.

Shifts:

• 3rd Shift

Duties:

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of compounding tanks and equipment.

• Clean and sanitize tanks hoses pumps and totes according to priority or production requirements.

• Adhere to MCP standards and regulatory requirements for tank cleaning and sanitizing.

• Maintain compliance with Apex and government regulations during cleaning processes.

• Safely and efficiently transfer products.

• Record weights for totes and drums accurately and stage them for warehouse locations.

• Transfer bulk fills into designated vessels and complete shipment paperwork accurately.

• Document cleaning and sanitizing activities.

• Record all tank tote and equipment cleaning and sanitizing in designated logs promptly.

• Process excess inventory transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Foster a culture of lean action.

• Implement and uphold standards and processes to eliminate waste in the department.

• Utilize lean tools to drive continuous improvements.

• Institutionalize 5-S principles for organizational efficiency.

• Embrace Lean thinking and actively seek opportunities to reduce waste.

• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

• Fluency in English and ability to follow directions and procedures effectively.

• Basic math skills including arithmetic operations and working with fractions and decimals.

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Completion of applicable Sanitizing and MCP training programs/tests.

• Ability to operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and multitask effectively.
