Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Orthopedic Practice
Location: Paramus NJ
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks Extension Possible)

Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Compensation:

• $1350 $1560/week (Based on experience)

Position Overview:

A reputable healthcare organization is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join an orthopedic practice. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision
• Collect and document non-interpretive patient data including physiological psychosocial and cognitive status
• Assist patients with daily activities such as hygiene ambulation and meals
• Position patients and provide pre-operative post-operative and post-mortem care as required
• Maintain a safe patient environment by responding promptly to patient needs and reporting changes in condition to the RN
• Deliver patient-centered care tailored to individual needs (age culture language and physical abilities)
• Communicate effectively with patients families and caregivers at an appropriate level
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to support efficient clinical operations

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Experience in orthopedic or clinical practice preferred (not required but beneficial)

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program

Certifications & Licensure:

• Active New Jersey LPN License (Required)
• BLS/CPR Certification (American Heart Association)
