A reputable healthcare organization is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join an orthopedic practice. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care under RN supervision
Collect and document non-interpretive patient data including physiological psychosocial and cognitive status
Assist patients with daily activities such as hygiene ambulation and meals
Position patients and provide pre-operative post-operative and post-mortem care as required
Maintain a safe patient environment by responding promptly to patient needs and reporting changes in condition to the RN
Deliver patient-centered care tailored to individual needs (age culture language and physical abilities)
Communicate effectively with patients families and caregivers at an appropriate level
Collaborate with healthcare staff to support efficient clinical operations
Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
Strong communication and patient care skills
Experience in orthopedic or clinical practice preferred (not required but beneficial)
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
