Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Boston MA
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Schedule: 40 hours/week (Flexible start time; standard hours around 8:00 AM 4:00 PM)
Position Overview
Navitas Partners LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support safety compliance and operational initiatives within a large-scale engineering and maintenance environment. This role will focus on developing and implementing structured processes related to investigations corrective actions and safety assurance programs.
Key Responsibilities
Investigations Management
- Establish and implement an internal investigations framework
- Define investigation thresholds and protocols including regulatory communication processes
- Conduct investigations including root cause analysis and documentation of findings
- Develop and manage corrective action plans based on investigation outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
Corrective Actions Oversight
- Design and implement workflows to manage corrective actions from multiple sources
- Develop tools and systems to track monitor and report on corrective actions
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational standards
Audit & Safety Assurance
- Develop and implement safety assurance programs aligned with OSHA standards
- Create documentation such as audit schedules checklists and performance metrics
- Coordinate with internal teams to execute safety assurance initiatives
- Monitor and report on safety compliance and continuous improvement efforts
Project & Operational Support
- Support leadership with strategic initiatives and departmental projects
- Contribute to process improvements and organizational efficiency efforts
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in safety compliance or engineering environments
- Strong knowledge of investigation processes root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Experience with audit programs and safety assurance frameworks (OSHA knowledge preferred)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and detail-oriented manner
