Job Summary
ABOUT THE TEAM
TheAir Dominance and Strike (AD&S) Electrical Engineering Teamis responsible fordeveloping high-reliability avionics embedded processing and power systems for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. Working across hardware software and mission autonomy the team delivers flight-critical electronics PCB assemblies and FPGA-based processing architectures that enable Andurils next-generation autonomous air platforms tooperatein complex and contested environments. AD&S Electrical Engineers drive end-to-end development from system architecture and circuit design to verification integration and flight test ensuring scalable mission-ready solutions that meet the performance reliability and survivability demands of the U.S. Military and modern air warfare.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for anElectrical Integration Engineerto join our rapidly growing team inCosta Mesa CA. In this role you will work closely with avionics systems manufacturing and flight test teams to support the development and test of air vehicle designs. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Createsupport documentation to include block diagrams ICDs wiring interconnect diagrams throughout all phases of product development
- Build upand test of avionics system components through lab ground and flight tests
- Manageconcurrent involvement in multiple projects at various stages
- Participatein design reviews and provide input toidentifyissues and drive design choices
- Conductroot cause analysis in support of vehicle integration and field operations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of Linux command line syntax Virtual Machines IP addressing and subnet structures interpret system diagrams lab equipment usage (power supply voltmeter oscilloscope SA SG VNA) troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in designing electrical harnessing for rugged commercial industrial aerospace or military applications
- Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces (CAN Ethernet RS422 RS232 MIL-STD-1553)
- Mustpossessexcellent communication skills
- Eligible to obtain andmaintainan active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years experience designing and integrating electrical systems into high-speed air vehicles
- Experienced and familiar withaircraftavionics module vendors and avionicscomponentsuppliers in UAS programs
- Experience with Siemens Capital software for 2D modeling and drafting.
US Salary Range
$129000 - $171000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and/or training critical skills and/or business considerations.
