SUMMARY OVERVIEW

The Ramp Agentis responsible forthe loading and unloading of baggage cargo and mail as applicable onto theaircraft along with guiding theaircraftto and from gates. You will be ensuring the secure and prompt handling ofaircrafton the ground in compliance with safety standards and airline guidelines. The duties extend to providing support for various ground operations playingan important roleinmaintainingthe seamless flow of airport services.â

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Repetitive loading and unloading of baggage cargo and mail as applicable ontoaircraftwith accuracyââ

• Operate ground service equipment such as pushbacks tugs belt loaders and baggage cartsâ

• Read and analyzeaircraftload sheets checked baggage tags and cargo labelsââ

• Marshallingaircraftto and from gatesâ

• Ensure safe movement ofaircrafton the groundâ

• Adhere to strict safety protocols and airline regulationsâ

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced team-oriented environmentâ

• Lift heavy objects in varying weather conditionsâ

• Communicate effectively with team members and airline personnelâ

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areasâ

• Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any issuesâ

• Follow standard operating procedures for ramp operationsâ

• Adapt to the changing of flight schedules and prioritiesâ

• ExemplifyPrimeFlightcustomer service and safety standards

• Perform anyadditionalduties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older

• Eligible to work inCanada

• Mustpossessa valid provincially issued permanent drivers license (e.g. Class 5 or Class G)

• Communicate effectively in English (reading writing speaking)

• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically including theuseofelectronic devices includingIPads/Tablets Computers and Mobile Devices

• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients both in-person and through electronic means

• Eligible to pass a background check and obtain andmaintaina RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card)

• Airlines are 24/7 so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nightsweekendsand holidays
