Job Summary
Do you enjoy working outdoors take pride in a job well done and appreciate the beauty of a perfectly maintained golf course Cove Creek Club is looking for a reliable hardworking Greenskeeper to join our grounds team and help maintain the exceptional playing conditions our members expect.
Compensation: This position is seasonal $18.00 - $20.000 per hour depending on prior experience.
What Youll Be Doing:
As a Greenskeeper youll play a key role in the daily upkeep and overall presentation of the golf course. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and being outside.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate mowers tractors and light equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment checks including fluid levels and condition
- Report equipment issues or abnormalities to supervisors
- Clean and store equipment properly at the end of each shift
- Maintain greens using walking mowers
- Assist with bunker maintenance weed eating and backpack blowing
- Plant and maintain annuals shrubs and native landscaping
- Support general golf course and property maintenance projects
- Drive turf vehicles and assist with grounds construction tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
What Were Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous golf course or landscaping experience (preferred not required)
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Availability for weekends and holidays as needed
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable & Punctual You show up ready to work and take ownership of your responsibilities
- Team-Oriented You work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment
- Safety-Focused You follow procedures and look out for yourself and your team
- Strong Communicator You listen ask questions and share information clearly
