Join Iowa State University as a Facilities Mechanic III supporting ISU Dining locations across this role youll help keep kitchens markets cafés and production spaces running smoothly by maintaining equipment and utility systems. Youll perform preventive maintenance respond to urgent repairs troubleshoot system issues and ensure safe reliable operations.
This role offers broad work across multiple trades including: mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC.
Youll install and do minor repairs on commercial kitchen equipment maintain utility systems complete daily work orders and support facility improvements. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience installing maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of commercial equipment and appliances.
- Experience with general plumbing repairs and working with piping valves and fixtures.
- Prior work on mechanical systems such as steam chilled water or HVAC equipment including installation maintenance or repair
- Experience troubleshooting and performing basic electrical maintenance and repairs.
